The cast for the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 continues to grow, as Collider has recently reported that It star Bill Skarsgård (IT films, The Devil All the Time, Castle Rock) is set to join the cast.

According to the report, Skarsgård’s role in the film is currently unknown, but he’ll join a cast that’s starting to become extremely star-studded. The actor will join the likes of Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, and more in the highly anticipated fourth entry in the John Wick franchise.
Chad Stahelski is returning to direct the next installment from a screenplay written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The film is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski with Reeves and Louise Rosner as executive producers. Iwanyk told Deadline that Yen “will bring a vibrant and powerful energy to the franchise. We were determined to bring him on board to John Wick: Chapter 4 and are thrilled for the opportunity to have such a major talent to collaborate with Keanu.”

No plot details on John Wick: Chapter 4 have been released. The project will begin production this summer shooting on location in France, Germany, and Japan. The film is set to release on May 27, 2022.
Bill Skarsgård’s upcoming projects also include the Netflix series Clark, based on the true story behind Sweden’s most notorious gangster, Clark Oloffson, whose infamous crimes gave rise to the term “Stockholm syndrome,” as well the adventure feature Emperor, Charlie McDowell’s crime drama Gilded Rage, and the war adaptation The Things They Carried.
