Apple TV+ has officially released the first Argylle photo from Matthew Vaughn’s newest star-studded spy film, providing us with our first look at Henry Cavill and Grammy winner Dua Lipa in her feature acting debut. The Witcher star also shared the still on his Instagram account, confirming that he is portraying the titular lead, while Lipa is playing the role of Lagrange.
In addition, a 7-second teaser for Argylle has also surfaced online, which you can check out below, featuring more footage of Cavill and Lipa as well as our first look at Oscar nominee Ariana DeBose’s character.

Based on author Ellie Conway’s upcoming spy novel set to be published later this year, the film adaptation will center around the world’s greatest spy Argylle as he is caught up in a globe-trotting adventure. Vaughn’s Marv Studios is looking to develop the project into becoming the first of at least three films in the potential big franchise that will be set throughout multiple locations across the world including America and London.
The film stars Henry Cavill (The Witcher, Justice League), John Cena (The Suicide Squad), Samuel L. Jackson (MCU films), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Dominion), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Oscar-winning actor Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), and Grammy-winning singer Dua Lipa in her feature acting debut, who is also set to provide the original music for the title track and score of the high-profile project.

Argylle is being directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay adapted by Jason Fuchs. It will be executive produced by Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fishbach, with Fuchs, Adam Bohling, and David Reid to produce.
