Beau Is Afraid releases on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on July 11, 2023. It will be available for the suggested retail prices of $39.99 for Blu-ray + DVD + Digital, and $29.96 for DVD. It comes with a special feature behind-the-scenes documentary called Finally Home: Making Beau Is Afraid.
Writer/director Ari Aster‘s third movie with A24 stars Joaquin Phoenix (Her, Gladiator, Joker) as a paranoid man embarking on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother. This psychological thriller is from the director of Hereditary and Midsommar. The cast includes Phoenix, Nathan Lane (The Producers, Mousehunt, TV’s “Only Murders in the Building”), Patti LuPone (Driving Miss Daisy, TV’s “Penny Dreadful,” “American Horror Story”), Parker Posey (Superman Returns, Dazed and Confused, Scream 3), and Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone, Birdman, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead).
