The Poor Things release date has been delayed.
This upcoming surrealist science fiction comedy-drama stars Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, and Willem Dafoe. “A young woman, Bella (Stone), is brought back to life by scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Dafoe),” reads the synopsis. “Initially naive, Bella is eager to learn about the world around her, albeit under Baxter’s protection. Wanting to see more, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, and travels across continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella demands equality and liberation.”

The film is set to release on December 8, 2023. Searchlight Pictures delayed it from its previous date of September 8, 2023. The runtime is 142 minutes.
