Titanic and the popular Rocky movie series are among the best content leaving Netflix in September 2023.
Starting September 30, the first five installments of the Rocky franchise won’t be available on Netflix anymore. Starring Sylvester Stallone, the Rocky movie series chronicles the journey of Rocky Balboa, an underdog boxer from Philadelphia. Beginning in 1976 with the original Rocky, the series propelled Rocky from obscurity to becoming heavyweight champion. Subsequent installments, including Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V, and 2006’s Rocky Balboa, explored his rise, fall, and personal growth.
On the same day, James Cameron‘s Titanic will depart from the Netflix available content. Set against the backdrop of the ill-fated maiden voyage in 1912, the 1997 film intertwines a timeless romance between Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio), a penniless artist, and Rose (Kate Winslet), an aristocratic young woman trapped in a suffocating engagement. Titanic is one of the most popular movies ever made, both in terms of critics and audiences. The film won 11 Oscars, tying the record for the most wins with 1959’s Ben-Hur and 2003’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
The list of content leaving Netflix next month includes A League of Their Own, Snow White & the Huntsman, Star Trek Into Darkness, and more.
