Colin From Accounts US Release Date Set for Paramount+ Series

The first season of the hit Australian comedy Colin From Accounts, starring real-life couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, will be heading to Paramount+ on November 9.

Besides Paramount+, Colin From Accounts debuted on the BBC in the UK last year. A standout comedy series from Binge created and written by Brammall and Dyer themselves, the show’s U.S. debut announcement comes shortly after the said Australian streamer renewed the hit series for Season 2.

“Colin From Accounts has already stolen the hearts of international audiences with its irresistible blend of lovable characters, endearing storylines and the perfect balance of modern-day romance and comedy,” said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President, Content & Business Operations, Paramount Streaming. “We are beyond thrilled to call Paramount+ the streaming home of the series here in the U.S. as it joins our growing slate of originals.”

The first two episodes of Colin From Accounts Season 1 will be available to watch on the platform on Thursday, November 9, with other episodes airing in the following weeks until November 30.

What Is Colin From Accounts About?

Colin From Accounts is a classic boy-meets-girl eight-part romantic comedy, following Gordon (Brammall) and Ashley (Dyer) navigating life together despite their differences and complexities. Though the two met during an unlikely encounter — a car accident that led to a wounded dog — Gordon and Ashley, two imperfect yet funny individuals, delved into each other’s lives while showing their authentic selves, “scars and all.”

The Australian series also stars Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett, and Tai Hara as James.

The official synopsis for Colins From Accounts reads as follows: “Centered on Ashley and Gordon, two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog, Colin from Accounts is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.”
