The Expendables 5 Release Date

The Expendables 5 Release Date Rumors: Is It Coming Out?

Although Expend4bles has only just released in theaters, fans of the action-thriller franchise are curious about whether or not Barney Ross and his lovable comrades would return for a fifth installment.

Here’s all The Expendables 5 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a The Expendables 5 release date?

At the time of writing, The Expendables 5 does not have a release date as it has not been confirmed by the producers of the Expendables franchise.

Even though the producers did not announce or confirm the development of The Expendables 5, they were open to the idea of making the fifth film. In an interview with the Daily Express, producers Kevin King-Templeton and Les Weldon said that they would make more Expendables films as long as there was a market for them and if fans demand it.

Moreover, if The Expendables 5 film happens, it will likely not involve Sylvester Stallone’s Barney Ross. This is because Stallone revealed that Expend4bles would mark his last appearance as the character and that he was handing down the reigns of the franchise to his co-star Jason Statham. Thus, if more Expendables films were made, it would see Statham’s Lee Christmas as the lead character.

However, there is also a great chance that The Expendables 5 or future Expendables films will not be made. This is because Expe4ndbles has so far received largely negative reviews from critics.

If The Expendables 5 is made, then fans can expect Jason Statham to reprise his role of Lee Christmas as the main lead. The fifth film could also bring back Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) as Easy Day, Megan Fox as Gina, Dolph Lundgren as Gunner Jensen, Tony Jaa as Decha, Randy Couture as Toll Road, and Andy Garcia as Marsh.

Where is The Expendables 5 coming out?

The Expendable 5 isn’t confirmed to release in theaters anytime soon.

As The Expendables 5 has not been announced, it is unknown what the story of the film could be. However, it will likely revolve primarily around Jason Statham’s Lee Christmas, with little or no presence from Sylvester Stallone‘s Barney Ross.
