The official Spy x Family Season 2 trailer for the next installment to Toho Animation’s hit anime has finally been released. The series is scheduled to return with new episodes starting on Saturday, October 7.
The video highlights the next adventures of the unusual Forger family. It also teases the blossoming feelings between Loid and Yor as the secret spy and assassin go on an awkward but sweet date. Meanwhile, Anya continues to try her best at Eden Academy in order to secretly help her father with his mission to get close to politician Donovan Desmond.

What is Spy x Family about?
“World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet— pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath,” the official synopsis from Crunchyroll states.
Spy x Family is based on the manga written by Tatsuya Endo, which is currently one of the best-selling manga series with at least 29 million copies in circulation since December 2022. It centers around a unique fake family consisting of spy Loid Forger, assassin Yor Briar, and telepath Anya Forger.
The anime adaptation hails from Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Written by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, Season 1 ran on-air for 25 episodes from April 2022 to December 2022. It is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
