Saw X: Is There an End Credits, Post-Credit, or Mid-Credits Scene?

For those wondering if Saw X has an end credits, post-credit, or mid-credits scene, here’s the definitive answer with no spoilers. Do you need to stay and watch the scrolling names? Here’s what you need to know.

Does Saw X have an end-credits scene?

Yes, it is confirmed that Saw X has an end-credits scene. It is a mid-credits scene, meaning viewers will not have to wait until the very end past the scrolling names.

Over the years, Saw movies have found many different ways to set up more sequels/prequels in the franchise. However, none of the nine previous movies have featured an end credits scene. Saw X includes the first one for the franchise.

Movies in the 2000s also had end credits scenes every now and then. However, the MCU turned it into a regularity as fans eagerly sat through the credits to either see what’s coming next or be entertained by a gag. Following the trend, several other franchises joined in. Now, Saw X does the same.

It’s worth noting that a post-credits scene was always expected out of Saw X after its producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules confirmed plans for another Saw outing. Speaking with ComicBook.com, Koules confirmed talks about Saw XI when he said:

“We’re kind of superstitious. We tend not to get too far ahead of ourselves. The movie’s going to be released in a few days. For us, we do have ideas for the next one, we haven’t put pen to paper. But this is his story, we really wanted it to be John Kramer’s story and tell a John Kramer story. So for the first 30 minutes of the movie, he’s John Kramer, you don’t have any hint of Jigsaw.”
